Project Spotlight

After merging with another company, a small orthopedic practice came to us for help with combining the two companies’ 401(k) plans. With only a month left until the deadline, the practice had to file a Form 5500 for one plan and a final 5500 on the other, and they had lost confidence in their prior plan administrator. We successfully designed a new plan to meet the needs of the combined practice and completed the filings on time. The following year, the new client had its first audit, and their Matthews Benefit Group plan administrator was onsite in the client’s office to assist during the process.
